MOVINGRAIL M6 Project Meeting

Moving block and virtual coupling first results

On 4 and 5 July 2019 all MOVINGRAIL partners were welcomed by PARK Signalling Ltd. in Stockport for our first biannual project meeting (following the Kick-Off in Delft).

First results and progress for all work packages were discussed. Technical discussions included the SWOT Analysis of Virtual Coupling, and output from the Advisory Board and surveys in the MOVINGRAIL WP2 and WP4 workshop of 23rd May 2019 in London. Other discussions included the planning of the upcoming six months,  such as our first periodic report and another workshop with the Advisory Board.

Furthermore, partners were taken on a tour of the testing facilities and see the current developments at PARK Signalling Ltd.  All in all a very fruitful meeting. The MOVINGRAIL M6 project meeting was the second in a series of five meetings, with our next project meeting foreseen end of this year, hosted by Technical University Braunschweig.
