On 2 and 3 December 2019 all MOVINGRAIL partners were welcomed by TU Braunschweig in Braunschweig, Germany, for the annual state of play project meeting.

The meeting addressed the general project planning and status of deliverables. There were discussions on recent updates of the four technical work packages, including bottlenecks, progress made and an overall planning towards the review. MOVINGRAIL also welcomed two members of the advisory board who contributed with their insight. There was also a workshop organized on “Interlocking principles - How to protect trains running through a point zone.”

The project team was taken a tour of the simulation facilities and also had the opportunity to test drive a train with real world experience.
